Held in the rolling provincial park of De Schorre in Boom, Belgium, Tomorrowland represents the apex of global electronic music production. With over two decades of evolution, the festival unites more than 200 nationalities across 16 thematic stage ecosystems, redefining what is possible in stage architecture, lighting engineering, and thematic storytelling.

The Architectural Mega Stages of De Schorre

1. The Iconic Mainstage Amphitheater

Spanning up to 140 meters in width and standing 45 meters tall, the Tomorrowland Mainstage is a bespoke sculptural marvel engineered from the ground up every season. Incorporating hydraulic movements, kinetic LED rings, real cascading waterfalls, and over 1,000 automated moving light fixtures, the Mainstage bowl creates an amphitheater acoustic pocket that delivers clear high-frequencies down to 28Hz sub-bass across 80,000 concurrent listeners.

2. Atmosphere Stage: The High-Speed Techno Tent

A monumental 32-meter high custom circus superstructure equipped with a colossal interior LED ceiling banner consisting of 120,000 individual LED diodes. Atmosphere is dedicated to hard techno, melodic techno, and peak-time driving acid rhythms, hosting curators like Drumcode, Afterlife, and Exhale.

3. Freedom Stage by Bud

A covered, multi-level megastructure with a wrap-around LED matrix that provides panoramic visual immersion. The Freedom stage is legendary for hosting premier conceptual solo shows including Eric Prydz’s HOLO / [CELL], featuring real-time 3D volumetric projections that hover above the crowd without 3D glasses.

4. The CORE Forest Sanctuary

Deep within the enchanted woodland perimeter of De Schorre, CORE features a towering architectural human face structure that integrates organic projection mapping, delicate ambient laser webs, and immersive spatial surround sound, dedicated to deep house, minimal techno, and experimental electronic frequencies.

Cashless Economy: The "Pearls" System

Tomorrowland operates on a 100% cashless system using proprietary digital currency called Pearls embedded into RFID festival bracelets. Unspent Pearls purchased online prior to the festival are automatically refunded to the original credit card post-festival, minimizing currency friction for international travelers.

DreamVille: The 38,000-Resident Sister City

For four straight days, DreamVille accommodates festivalgoers in diverse accommodations ranging from the bring-your-own-tent Magnificent Greens to pre-pitched Easy Tents, Relax Rooms, and luxury Mansions. DreamVille features its own market square, bakery, butcher, jewelry workshops, padel tennis courts, and exclusive Thursday warm-up festival "The Gathering".
