Founded in Belgium by DJ and visionary Murdock (Hans Bourlon), Rampage has grown from an intimate club event into the undisputed largest Drum & Bass and Dubstep festival brand on planet Earth. Each year, Rampage transforms Belgium into the holy sanctuary for bassheads worldwide.

Indoor Dominance: Sportpaleis Weekend

During late winter/early spring, over 30,000 ravers converge upon Antwerp's iconic Sportpaleis arena. The production is renowned for its mammoth kinetic LED ceiling chandeliers that lower within arm's reach of the dancefloor, synchronized with hundreds of laser projectors and high-pressure cryogenic CO2 bursts. The acoustic design utilizes sub-bass arrays specifically tuned for neurofunk, jump up, tearout dubstep, and liquid DnB.

Rampage Open Air: Kristalpark Lommel

In the summer season, the festival expands to Kristalpark in Lommel for Rampage Open Air. Spanning multiple open-air and covered tent stages, a fully equipped skate park, massive bass-loaded swimming zones, and thousands of campers, Open Air delivers non-stop 24-hour sound systems with specialized silent disco stages lasting until sunrise.

Production Tech: Bass Pressure & Lasers

Rampage stages deploy cutting-edge d&b audiotechnik SL-Series and L-Acoustics KS28 subwoofer arrays running cardioid sub configurations. This ensures pristine bass impact with minimal low-end cancellation, producing chest-thumping sub frequencies down to 25Hz while maintaining clarity across rapid-fire vocal MC delivery.
